 New transport option for island

New transport option for island

4/07/2008 9:05:00 AM
Peter Wyatt and son Chad have recognised a gap in the market and have started a new transport business on Kangaroo Island – Kangaroo Island Transfers.

The fledgling business has targeted an airport shuttle service as a start and is doing good business, meeting each scheduled flight which lands at Kingscote Airport.

Mr Wyatt said his shuttle service could also collect passengers from their home or holiday accommodation for transport to the airport. He also offers transport to individuals and groups between towns and for dinners or appointments. He can transport up to 10 passengers at a time.

“We’ll transport anyone to anywhere on the island,” Mr Wyatt said. “Those flying out of Kingscote no longer have to leave their car at the airport. We can collect them from home and the shuttle bus will be there to meet them on their return, to take them home.”

Kangaroo Island Transfers is also offering special meal and transport return packages.
